Patricia is in prison for killing her abusive husband, Andre. As part of her rehabilitation, she must tell her story in a state-mandated group therapy session, with other inmates who have killed their husbands. When she tells her story, we flash back into the horrible events which led her to kill him. The film deals with the issue of domestic violence and can be instrumental in saving lives.
