Moviemakers Mixer
A public Meet & Greet amongst filmmakers, cast, and crew involved with Feature Films and Shorts appearing in this festival.
Talent Spotlight
An intimate Discussion with a Panel of Celebrity Talent ranging from actors, directors, producers, writers, casting agents, and network/studio executives.
Movie Marathon
A competition series of all indie films (Features and Shorts) showcasing in the festival. Each film, along with its leading and supporting cast, will be considered for a “Best Award” during The Indies on Closing Day.
The Indies
An informal Awards Gala honoring the best talent (Lead and Supporting actor and actress) along with the best film (Feature and Short) screened in the festival’s Movie Marathon competition.
Patio Mixer / Pool Party
The festival’s final Mixer will be taking place on the outdoor patio and beach style pool at the host hotel (Four Points Sheraton off Camp Creek Parkway in East Point, GA)
Streaming Black
a panel discussion among Creative Talent and Business executives on topics discussing the latest insights in the streaming of African-American produced content.
Pitch Black
A Pitch Showcase where filmmakers can present their latest film work or ideas in the form of a development plan and brief trailer to our advisory panel of industry veterans (film producers, tv showrunners, studio executives, and private investors) Each contestant will be allotted a total of 15 minutes to present their project and answer any questions from the panelists.
